Welcome to OldPoolHall.com
I am looking for pictures of old pool
halls and the players that frequented them.
It's my tribute to the "real pool halls"
that existed before The Color Of Money changed everything... After that, every
strip mall around had a billiards fun center in them.
My tribute is to those that had some of
these qualities......
old grungy pool halls where there was low
lighting, except over the pool tables
they had mostly 9 foot tables... they had
several 5 x 10's and some billiard tables and maybe a 6 x 12 snooker table
there was no music, no bullshit, just pool
the houseman knew everyone and played pool
too
after hours games were common
it was the place where road players were
going to stop on their way thru
you get the idea !!!!
There is lot of pictures here, but most
are too small....

please help me with photos of players and
photos of old pool halls... Let me help tell your story of your favorite place
and the people that were regulars.
If you have pictures that need scanned, I
would be more that happy to scan them for you and burn them to CD/DVD so you
will always have a copy to pass on to keep your history alive. I have been thru
a fire and lost everything, so having them on a CD/DVD, then store one at your
place and another somewhere else.
You can send them to me, I'll scan them
right away and send them right back.
If you want to email me pictures, please
send them in the highest resolution you have... Tiny pictures don't do much to
tell a story.
Please send them to
photos@oldpoolhall.com
I will give you credit for them so people
know who contributed
Thanks much,
Greg aka "CaliRed"
